Lord, I worship You, I praise You, precious God of love and thank You that you have poured out Your love on me. I lift my heart to you and ask you to fill it so full of Your unfailing and unconditional love that it over-flows onto others. Thank You, Lord, that You are the God who makes all things new, even our relationships. You can put new love into our heart, You can revive love that has died and make love live again.

I give all my relationships to You and thank You for them. For those who are closest and most important to me, and those that are most challenging and difficult, enable me to love them the way You do. I especially want to thank You right now for my relationship with ______________ . Help us to draw closer to one another. Help me to fulfill Your Word and love them as I love myself (Matthew 19:19). Enable me to honor them (1Peter 2:17) and be humble and submissive before them (1 Peter 5:5). I praise You as the God of restoration, for I know You can restore my relationships to complete wholeness. Help me to be in unity with others and to be compassionate, loving, tenderhearted, and courteous, “not returning evil for evil” but rather only giving blessings to them (1 Peter 3: 8-9).

I praise You as my Creator and recognize that You created all the people with whom I am in relationships. You are their heavenly Father just as You are mine. They are my brothers and sisters, and You love and forgive them as You love and forgive me. You laid down Your life for them as You laid it down for me. You have a purpose for their lives just as You have for mine. Help me to love them as You love me.
