Stumbling into Grace with Security Praise Truth and Persistence

SPTP Love Truth

Security: Our only Security: Galatians 2:20: I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

Praise: Praise is a continuous part of life: Colossians 2:6-7: As you have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in thanskgiving.

Truth: The only Truth: Psalm 25:5:  Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior and my hope is in You all day long.

Persistence:  Proverbs 3:5-6: Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.

1 Thessalonians 4:11: Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life, mind your own business and work with your hands, like we told you.

2 Timothy 1:7: For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love and of a sound mind.

2 Corinthians 3:17: Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

Romans 8: 11 : And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.

Romans 8: 14-17 : For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.  The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship.  And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.”  The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.  Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.

Acts 2: 38-39: Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.  The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call.

Ephesians 1: 13: And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit.

Ephesians 6: 17: Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

John 14: 16-17: And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.

Colossians 1:27: To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

Galatians 2:20: I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

1 Corinthians 6:19: Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own.

Revelation 22: 17:  The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let the one who hears say, “Come!” Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.

Det 4:29-31 But if from there you seek  the Lord your God, you will find him if you look for him with all your heart  and with all your soul. When you are in distress and all these things have  happened to you, then in later days you will return to the Lord your God and  obey Him. For the Lord your God is a merciful God; he will not abandon you or  destroy you or forget the covenant with your forefathers, which He confirmed by oath

Jer 29:13 You will find me, says the  Lord, when you seek me with all your heart

2 Timothy 1:9 God has saved us and called  us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own  purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began

Det 29:4 To this day the Lord has not  given you a mind that understands eyes that see or ears that hear

Lamentations 3: 37-42 Who can speak and  have it happen if the Lord has not decreed it?  Is it not from the mouth of the Most High that both calamities and good  things come?  Why should any living man  complain when punished for his sins?

2 Peter 1 3-16 His divine power has given  us everything we need for life and godliness, through our knowledge of him who  called us by his own glory and goodness.  Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises so  that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the  corruption in the world caused by evil desires. For this very reason, make  every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge and to
knowledge, self control; and to self control, perseverance; and perseverance, godliness, and to godliness, brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness
love.  For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and  unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.  But if anyone does not have them, he is near  sighted and blind and has forgotten that he has been cleansed from his past sins.

Det 7: 9 Know therefore that the Lord your God is GOD, he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commands.

Det 8:17 You may say to yourself, my  power and the strength of my hands have produced this wealth for me.  But remember the Lord your God, for it is he
who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your forefathers, as it is today.

Det 12: 5-7 But you are to seek the place the Lord your God will choose from among all your tribes to put his Name there  for his dwelling.  To that place you must go; bringing your tithes and special gifts…There, in the presence of the Lord  your God, you and your families shall eat and shall rejoice in everything you have put your hand to, because the Lord your God has blessed you

Eph 4: 14-24 Then we will no longer be  infants tossed back and forth by the waves and blown here and there by every  wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of men in their  deceitful  scheming.  Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will  in all things grow up into Him who is Head, that is, Christ.  From him the whole body, joined and held  together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as  each part does its work. So I tell you this and insist on it, in the Lord, that  you must no longer live as Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking.  They are darkened in their understanding and  separated from the life of God because of their ignorance that is in them due  to the hardening of their hearts.  You, however, did not come to know Christ in that way.  Surely you heard of him and were taught in  him in accordance with the truth that is in Jesus.  You were taught, with regard to your former  way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires to be made new in the attitude of your minds;  and to put on  the new self…

Psalm 55: 17 Evening, morning and noon I cry out in distress, and He hears my voice.

Psalm 50:15 Call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor Me.

Luke 12: 15 Watch Out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; a man’s wealth does not consist in the abundance of  his possessions.

1John 3: 17-20 If anyone has material  possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the  love of God be in him? Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but  with actions and in truth. This then is how we know that we belong to the  truth, and how we set our hearts at rest in his presence whenever our hearts  condemn us.  For God is greater than our hearts, and He knows everything.

2 Cor 3:18 And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his likeness  with ever increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

2 Cor 5:20 Fore we must all appear before the judgment  seat of Christ, which each  one may receive what is due him for the things done while in the body, whatever good or bad.

Eph 4 29-31 Do not let any unwholesome  talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up  according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.  And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God,  with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.  Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and considerate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you

1 Cor 29-35 What I mean brothers, is that  the time is short…I would like you to be free from concern….A married man is concerned about the affairs of this world..A married woman is concerned about the affairs of this world…I am saying this for your own good, not to restrict  you, but that you may live in a right way in undivided devotion to the Lord.

Matt 5:42 Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you  Rom 8 28-29 For those God foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of His Son, and that he might  be the firstborn among many brethrens. And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified, those he justified, he also  glorified.

Eph 5 28-29 …Husbands out to love their wives as their own bodies, He who loves his wife loves himself. After all, no  one ever hated his own body, but he feeds and cares for it, just as Christ does the Church.

Det 15 6-11 For the Lord your God will bless you as he promised, and you will lend too many nations but will borrow from none.  You will rule over many nations but none will rule over you.  If there is a poor man among your brothers in any of the tows of the land that the  Lord your God is giving you, do not be hard hearted or tightfisted toward your poor brother.  Rather be openhanded and  freely lend him whatever he needs.  Be careful not to harbor wicked thoughts…give generously to him and do so without  a grudging heart, then because of this the Lord your God will bless you in all your work and in everything you put your hand to. There will always be poor  people in the land.  Therefore I command you to be openhanded towards your brothers and toward the poor and needy in your land.

1 Cor 1 27-30 But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world  to shame the strong.  He chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things – and the things that are not –to  nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him.  It is because of Him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God.

Rom 10 8-10 The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart, that is, the word of faith we are  proclaiming.  That if you confess with our mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believed in your heart that God raised him from  the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.

Isa 30 20-21 Although the Lord gives you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, your teachers will be  hidden no more; with your own eyes you will see them.  Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it”.

Psalm 32:10 Many are the woes of the wicked but the Lord’s unfailing love surrounds the man who trusts in Him

Heb 6 10-11 God is not unjust, he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his  people and continue to help them. We want each of you to show the same diligence to the very end, in order to make
your way sure

Heb 6 18-19  God did this so that, by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold  of the hope offered to us may be greatly encouraged.  We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.

Psalm 18:6 In my distress I called to the Lord, I cried to my God for help, from his temple he heard my voice, my cry  came before Him, into his ears

Det 31:6 and 8 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God does with  you; he will never leave or forsake you. The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.  Do not be afraid, do not be discouraged.

Isa 41:13 For I am the Lord, your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you

1 Cor 2 9-10  For it is written: No eye has seen, nor ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love  him.  But God has revealed it to us by his Spirit.

Gal 6:4 Each one should test his own actions.  Then he can take pride in himself, without comparing himself to someone else, for each one should carry
his own load.

Rom 7: 15-20 I do not understand what I  do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate to do.  And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree
the law is good.  As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it but it is sin living in me. I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it  out.  For what I do is not the good I want to do, no, the evil I do not want to do-this I keep on doing.  Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is  no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it. So I find this law at work.  When I want to do good,
evil is right there with me.  For in my inner being I delight in God’s work.

1 Cor 13:11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I reasoned like a child.  When I became a man I put my childish ways behind me.  Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror, then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am known fully.

Heb 12:15 See to it that no one misses the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many.

Matt 12:34 … how can you who are evil say anything good? For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks
