Pssst! Did you know the Bible is the Living Word? I did too, but, somehow it still amazes me! My definition of the Living Word is: after reading a verse over and over – there comes a moment when that verse touches your heart in another way; living and breathing new life into God’s Word.
Matthew 18:10 (New Living Translation): “Beware that you don’t look down on any of these little ones. For I tell you that in heaven their angels are always in the presence of my heavenly Father.
Although Jesus referenced children in this parable; we are all children of God. (John 1:12)
Read one more time from another version of Matthew 18:10.
Matthew 18:10 (The Message): Watch that you don’t treat a single one of these childlike believers arrogantly. You realize, don’t you, that their personal angels are constantly in touch with my Father in heaven?
Of course, Jesus is the Almighty Intercessor between God and our-selves. But you have a personal angel! Your angel is constantly in touch with God. Your angel praises God in Heaven; representing you!
No matter what the version – You have a personal angel!
Here’s the itchy-twitchy part:
Yes, you have an angel but so does every other child of God.
Be careful of others – their angels are praising God!

Great post, Susie. It’s awesome how God can speak to you through others. The last verse I used in Hold You was the beginning of John…where it walks about the Word coming to life in the form of Jesus! Praise God! 😀
