I was watching TV over the weekend. I lose my hubby on Fall Saturday’s. Oh, I know where he is. He’s watching College Football and enjoying his fall football treat.

I saw a commercial on the TV. The commercial was advertising for several TV series. The first part showed a fairy tale series struggling between good and evil, the next trailer showed a woman out for revenge and the third showed a new series about the evil 666 on Park Avenue. At the end of the commercial the word, INDULGE showed up on the screen.

Yes, we struggle in life between good and evil maybe even struggling with revenge at times. Are we going a little too far with allowing the evil into our homes?

Isn’t allowing the evil into our lives the problem? Isn’t allowing satan “IN” what started all of this mess?

Genesis 3:4-5 (NIV) “You will not surely die,” the serpent said to the woman. 5 “For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”

Let the Word of Christ have the run of your house. And sing, sing, sing your hearts out to God!

Indulge in the Message!

Colossians 3: 15-17 (The Message) 15-17 Let the peace of Christ keep you in tune with each other, in step with each other. None of this going off and doing your own thing. And cultivate thankfulness. Let the Word of Christ—the Message—have the run of the house. Give it plenty of room in your lives. Instruct and direct one another using good common sense. And sing, sing your hearts out to God! Let every detail in your lives—words, actions, whatever—be done in the name of the Master, Jesus, thanking God the Father every step of the way.
