My daughter called early yesterday morning. We chatted about her school, work and everyday life. I was standing by the open patio door when I saw something out of the corner of my eye.

Before I could even turn towards the movement, I saw a puppy running at a full gallop and with something hanging from her jaw. Before my brain could register what that “something” was, I saw a big, black Crow flying, furiously, after the puppy.

Of course, the puppy, full of little doggie energy, was happily obliging the angry crow. She thought the crow was playing games. That little minx of a dog ran circles around the crow; although the crow was giving the whole situation its undivided attention.

This morning as the light dawned into a new day, I saw that angry crow flying above the puppy dog-house. The crow was flying in circles and still squawking about yesterday’s lost prize.

How many times has the Prize been stolen from you?

How many times have you done all the work and someone else gets the credit?

How many times has someone played games with you or your loved ones?

We must be careful – by staying in touch with the Lord through His Word

Otherwise we can and will become the Angry Crow – flying in circles – still squawking about our lost prize.
