Have you ever bought something and paid too much?
Did you buy this coveted item on credit or with-draw the money from savings?
Mark 14: 3 (NIV) While he was in Bethany, reclining at the table in the home of Simon the Leper, a woman came with an alabaster jar of very expensive perfume, made of pure nard. She broke the jar and poured the perfume on his head.
When we love another, we want to “show” our affection. We say too much or we try to say the right thing or we try to “buy” affection or try to “do” something; trying to prove our love.
Jesus doesn’t want us to prove anything to Him. We don’t need to show, say, buy or do.
Jesus just wants us to do one thing.
He wants our Worship.
