Remember when you fell in love with your significant other?
Or go back a little further, remember the first time you told that important person you loved them?
Were you the first one to say “it”?
Were you the reckless one, immersed in hope and throwing caution to the wind?
You didn’t keep your love locked inside. No, you shared it with you beloved and announced it to others.
John 12: 24-25 (NIV) Unless a grain of wheat is buried in the ground, dead to the world, it is never any more than a grain of wheat. But if it is buried, it sprouts and reproduces itself many times over. In the same way, anyone who holds on to life just as it is destroys that life. But if you let it go, reckless in your love, you’ll have it forever, real and eternal.
Jesus told us there were two important commandments. Love God above all and Love others.
Jesus’ love for us was reckless and that’s what He wants us to be.
Out of Control
Yes, Love can make Fools of us all.
BUT when we fall in Love, recklessly, with Jesus, His loves is enough to sustain us; even when the World tells us something different.
Abandon yourself to the Eternal Love of Jesus
Love others in the same manner
Don’t listen to the nay-sayers!
Love will sprout and reproduce many, many times over!
