***taken from Jesus Calling by Sarah Young ***

Take time to BE STILL in My Presence. The more hassled you feel, the more you need this sacred space of communion with Me. Breathe slowly and deeply. Relax in My holy Presence while My Face shines upon you.

Imagine the pain I feel when My children tie themselves up in anxious knots, ignoring My gift of Peace. I died a criminal’s death to secure this blessing for you.  Receive it gratefully; hide it in your heart. My Peace is an inner treasure, growing within you as you trust in Me. Therefore, circumstances cannot touch it.  Be still, enjoying Peace in My Presence.

Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth (Psalm 46:11)

The Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace. (Numbers 6:25-26)

Last Saturday I was watching UP channel.

It was a movie about two sisters, their Mom and love, of course.

One of the lines spoken had me running for a piece of paper and pen. I should learn by now to keep pen and pad by my seat.

Isn’t that the way life goes? You always hear something worthy of writing down when there is nothing to write nearby. I think that may be Murphy’s Law.

This is the line I heard. I apologize to the unknown scrip-writer for not giving credit where credit is due. I’m sorry I don’t even remember the name of the movie.

Here is the line I will not soon forget.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A GOD WHO SHOUTS  –  WE COMPLETELY MISS HIS WHISPERS!

Have you take the time today to listen?

Be still!

Quiet your mind.

Stop those whirl-wind thoughts.

Kick the devil to the curb!

Breathe In

RELAX your mind

The God of the Universe is waiting
