***taken from Jesus Calling by Sarah Young ***

Take time to BE STILL in My Presence. The more hassled you feel, the more you need this sacred space of communion with Me. Breathe slowly and deeply. Relax in My holy Presence while My Face shines upon you.

Imagine the pain I feel when My children tie themselves up in anxious knots, ignoring My gift of Peace. I died a criminal’s death to secure this blessing for you.  Receive it gratefully; hide it in your heart. My Peace is an inner treasure, growing within you as you trust in Me. Therefore, circumstances cannot touch it.  Be still, enjoying Peace in My Presence.

Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth (Psalm 46:11)

The Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace. (Numbers 6:25-26)

SUPERSTITION DOES NOT LIVE IN THE WORD OF GOD

FRIDAY THE 13TH DAILY READINGS

**credit to Grace for each Moment***

PEACE IS THE DIRECT RESULT OF TRUST

Isaiah 26:3 You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast because he trusts in YOU.

**credit to Our Daily Bread**

Like a safe within a safe, our salvation is protected by God and we’re secure

1 Peter 1: 3-5 (VOICE) Blessed is God, the Father of our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One! Because He has raised Jesus the Anointed from death, through His great mercy we have been reborn into a living hope— 4 reborn for an eternal inheritance, held in reserve in heaven, that will never fade or fail. 5 Through faith, God’s power is standing watch, protecting you for a salvation that you will see completely at the end of things.

2 Corinthians 3, Christian, Faith, Fortified tower, Living, Proverbs 18, safety, secure, Truth

What does the word Liberty mean to you? Does liberty bring these words to mind; freedom, independence, emancipation and liberation? Can you picture the American flag held high above a battlefield or waving proudly on a battleship!

2 Corinthians 3:17 says: Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

We are being led by this passage. Any praise-time and every worship-time we spend with our Lord, gives authorization and authority and yes, even permission to use His name to smash and rupture and fracture the power evil holds over us.

This verse in the Bible is telling us, we have freedom over evil. The evil does not and will not have a sanctuary or strong-hold in our thoughts or in our actions.

Proverbs 18:10: The name of the LORD is a fortified tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.

Run to your citadel and dwell in your fortress. The evil one who prowls has no power when you dwell in the Spirit; you are out of harm’s way. The Lord of all, when called upon, is our Mighty Tower, our Fortified Tower; run to Him and be sheltered, safe and secure.
